When is training for my child’s team?
Due to limited court space, we are not able to cater for individual team training times. We provide age group training for U10’s – U14’s with qualified coaches focusing on ball handing and shooting techniques to assist players to improve their game. These are run mid week and details are on our social media pages & events information page on our website.
What is ‘bench duty’ and do I have to do it?
Bench duty is scoring a game when your child is playing. It requires a parent from each team to do scoreboard or iPad scoring. There are instructions and Court Controllers/Referees will assist. It is important parents learn to do this so the duty can be shared and not left to the same parent each week. It is the responsibility of the team manager to arrange a scorer for each week.
Do all coaches have WWCC?
Yes, all volunteers in a role must provide a current WWCC blue card. This does not mean they are responsible for your Childs safety. As a parent you must be fully responsible for the care & welfare of your child at all times.
